Parsian Gas Company EPM Project Implementation – Asaluyeh

The Parsian Gas Project was a project that was assigned to us as a subcontractor due to the migration of the specialized forces of another contractor company. After a long time, we took on the implementation of an EPM project. The project was faced with many difficulties such as internet outages, internal sabotage, the previous contractor’s lack of commitment, and bad weather. It was a very difficult project. The remaining work was to be done by our company, and the scope of the project included the installation of two parts and training for a period of one month. When we were present at the project, it was determined that the previous contractor’s software was unusable and we had to implement and train 5 parts of the software from scratch. Ultimately, the project duration was reduced to 4 months. However, the Fixed Cost contract was signed. Our company had the option to withdraw from the implementation and cancel the contract due to the non-compliance of the contract scope. However, in consultation with senior engineering managers, it was decided that the project should be completed with maximum quality and at our company’s expense, so that it could be successfully introduced as an example to other companies in Assaluyeh. This was the case, and a delegation from the Pars Special Economic Energy Zone arrived at the project site. And in the evaluations, they also expressed their satisfaction with the system’s functionality and capabilities, which later led to another project, which we have discussed in a separate post.
